CHOREOGRAPHER, DANCER
France – born in Seyne-Sur-Mer, Provence-Alpes-Cote D’Azur on May 24th, 1982.
DANCER
He started his training in 1993 at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Danse Roland Petit in Marseille, France, where he graduated in 1999.
In 2000 he started his professional career as soloist in the Jeune Ballet International Rosella Hightower in Cannes, France. From 2002 on he danced in Germany consecutively at the Staatstheater Saarbrücken, the Staatstheater Braunschweig in 2004, the Staatsoper Hannover in 2006, the Stadttheater Augsburg in 2007 and as a soloist at the Staatstheater Mainz since August 2009.
During his professional career he danced in choreographies from: George Balanchine, Mauro Bigonzetti, Davide Bombana, Nacho Duato, Mikhail Fokine, William Forsythe, Itzik Galili, Jacopo Godani, Marco Goecke, Thierry Malandain, Emily Molnar, Martino Müller, Kevin O´Day, Roland Petit, Angelin Preljocaj, Christian Spuck, Pascal Touzeau and Renato Zanella.
He also danced solo roles including: Romeo and Julia as Mercutio, Alice im Wunderland as White Rabbit, Summernachtstraum as Lysander, The Nutcracker as Fritz and Traumgekrönt.
CHOREOGRAPHER
In 2000 he won the First Prize, solo and duo, in the National Dance Competition from the PACA area.
As a choreographer he made a piece for the Ecole Supérieure de Danse in Cannes, France.
In 2002, 2003 and 2004 he made various pieces for the Saarländisches Staatstheater Saarbrücken and in 2005, 2006 for the Staatstheater Braunschweig. In 2005 he was invited to present one of his choreographies in Japan.
In 2007 he was asked to make a piece for the Staatsoper Hannover and was invited to perform one of his pieces at the 15de Modern Dance Festival, Portugal.
After being selected for the International Internet Dance Festival Side-by-Side, Düsseldorf, his piece was nominated for The Best Video of the month by www.ballet-tanz.de.
In 2008 and 2009 he created various pieces for the Stadttheater Augsburg and was asked to perform the pieces at the Staatstheater Stuttgart, Stadttheater Giessen and during the Aids Gala in Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz, München. In 2008 he was nominated as Beste Nachwuchs-Choreograf 2007 in the dance magazine Dance for you.
In 2009 he was nominated Bester Tänzer 2009 by the Augsburg Journal.
In 2010 he presented his last choreography at the 2nd International Stage Dance Gala.
The last 4 years he created for the Noverre-Gesellschaft in Stuttgart.
In the last 4 years his choreographies were selected at the International Choreographers Contest, Hannover, where he won the Critic’s Prize in 2010.
